My role
Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) qualified solicitor specialising in wills, trusts and inheritance tax (IHT) planning with a particular interest in helping elderly and vulnerable clients. I also advise in connection with lasting powers of attorney and the Court of Protection where clients lack capacity, acting as a professional attorney and deputy where required.
I seek to provide a professional but friendly approach to ensure that my clients feel as comfortable as possible and understand the advice given and the arrangements that they are making.
I enjoy providing talks to WI groups, Probus and support groups to highlight the importance of getting their affairs in order to make life easier for everyone in the future.
My experience
I am a member of STEP and also hold the STEP Advanced Certificate in Advising Vulnerable Clients. I joined Anthony Collins Solicitors following the merger with my previous firm Jobling Gowler Solicitors. I joined Jobling Gowler in September 2011, initially as an associate solicitor and later becoming a partner. Prior to this, I was an associate solicitor with a Stockport-based solicitor firm from May 2007.
