My role
I am a solicitor in the construction and public-procurement department supporting public sector organisations, housing associations, charitable bodies and health and social care providers.
My experience
Having trained at ACS, I understand the needs of our client base and the sectors they operate in, which enables me to support clients through sector-based challenges facing their organisation.
I regularly act for and advise clients in relation to a range of adjudication proceedings and various construction disputes, including those relating to issues arising from contractor insolvency, defective works, final account valuations, contract administration, payment mechanisms and professional negligence. I also provide advice and act for clients in relation to building and fire safety issues.
My experience of resolving disputes includes the use of adjudication and litigation and during these processes, I look to adopt a pragmatic and commercial approach, to achieve cost-effective outcomes whilst meeting my client’s objectives.
Additionally, I have a wide range of experience in representing clients in both bringing and defending procurement challenges.
