My role
I am a partner in the property team and specialise in all things related to property charging for housing associations. This also extends to strategic planning, asset and liability registers and valuation uplifts to support my clients’ commercial and social goals.
My experience
I have over 13 years of highly specialised property charging experience acting for both housing association borrowers as well as funders and security trustees.
Prior to joining Anthony Collins, I spent eight years at another law firm acting for a wide range of client housing associations, large and small, on routine secured property charging, bond issues and private placements. As well as new property charging transactions, I also advise on refinancing, mortgagee exclusion clauses, valuation uplifts, lease reviews and asset and liability register projects. I have extensive experience providing training to clients on requirements and risk.
Prior to this, I was fortunate to have enjoyed five years working in-house as a treasury solicitor for a G15 housing association. Whilst there, I also worked on stock rationalisation, data integrity and other related corporate projects.
