Matt Wort, partner and head of the health and social care team at Anthony Collins Solicitors (ACS), a national law firm with offices in Birmingham and Manchester, has been named as one of The Lawyer Hot 100.
The annual listing, produced by The Lawyer, focuses on those whose work has two things in common, excellence: leading the legal sector and making a positive impact to society; and relevance: doing important work that is relevant now.
Matt, an employment lawyer, who leads the firm’s work in the health and social care sector, spent 2020 and 2021 talking hundreds of clients through the rapidly changing legal landscape during the Covid-19 pandemic. He also supported national trade bodies Care England the National Care Forum on how their members responded to the changes in law and guidance to ensure they provided the best possible care to the people they support.
He has led industry commentary on the response to mandatory vaccinations for workers in health and social care.
This is the first time that Matt has been featured in The Lawyer Hot 100, and the first a member of ACS has made it onto the hotly contested list.
