The past six months

We are delighted that our team was recognised as a national and an international leader for the work we undertake in supporting and advising vulnerable individuals and their families, with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners’ prestigious “Vulnerable Client Team of the Year” award. Accepted at the awards dinner in London in September 2016 by our Court of Protection Lead, Sheree Green, the award is a recognition of many years of hard work and commitment to clients. We support those most in need of advice and support to ensure they get the best possible results – whether through financial management, appropriate services being secured or families being properly advised on how to protect their loved ones.

We were also delighted with the news that all three Mediators within our Family Team are now fully accredited – with two of them also accredited to undertake mediations involving children. These accreditations mean that the Mediation Team at Anthony Collins Solicitors can support you and your clients to get the best possible outcomes in a range of difficult scenarios, such as relationship breakdown, and try to avoid the stress and costs involved with Court. We have also continued to expand our team to ensure we are able to meet the needs of our clients and referrers. Helen Mottram has joined our Childcare Team as a Senior Associate and Children Panel member, bringing with her an enormous amount of expertise and drive to secure the best outcomes for families, particularly children, in disputes and issues with care arrangements.

We have also welcomed Clare Burke, Solicitor, to our Personal Planning and Management Team. Clare looks forward to working with you and your clients in the future to provide advice in the areas of Wills and Estate Planning and Probate and Court of Protection matters.

As you can see, it has been a busy few months for us – and it’s almost Christmas again now!
