Meet our new medico-legal advisor Nicole Robson

We’re delighted to welcome Nicole Robson to the role of Medico-Legal advisor in the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Team at Anthony Collins Solicitors. 

Nicole will support the team in the medical analysis of cases and provide an invaluable resource when assessing clinical negligence and personal injury claims.

Before starting at Anthony Collins Solicitors, Nicole gained several years of NHS nursing experience rotating between medical and surgical posts, including neurology, anaesthetics, urgent care and community care.  Following these rotations, she then began a permanent post as a scrub nurse in gynaecology theatres. Throughout these roles, Nicole was able to gain experience of many complex conditions, appropriate diagnosis and the management required to enable the best outcome and quality of life for patients. 

Nicole developed a special interest in mental health and how this is affected by physical health and subsequently completed an MSc in Psychology. Completing the MSc allowed Nicole to explore the historical and contemporary research that is the foundation for modern-day mental-health treatment. On completion, Nicole started a new post in clinical oncology research, where she was involved in current cancer drug trials within the NHS. This post allowed Nicole to see the benefits and complexities of new treatments and how this affects patients.

Nicole then moved into the legal sector working in risk and compliance before joining us here at Anthony Collins Solicitors and she is currently studying for her CILEX qualification.

Nicole added, “Aside from my medical knowledge, which will provide specialist expertise during the case progression, I hope my previous nursing experience will put clients at ease and help convey an understanding of their healthcare experience when contacting us for specialist advice.”
