We are acting for several social care providers in relation to a group of 127 employees in dismissal and discrimination claims arising from mandatory vaccination of staff in care homes. Given our sector contacts, we have been able to represent multiple providers, who not only benefit from our sector expertise, but from the costs savings of acting for several providers at once.
We supported a large number of providers through the introduction of the regulations and the procedure involved in dismissals, meaning we were well ahead in our understanding of the legal position when these claims were brought. We have taken a proactive approach in sending letters warning that we will seek to recover all of our client’s legal costs if the claims are unsuccessful. A number of related union-backed claims have already been withdrawn because of this.
