Not all divorce cases are unfriendly. We acted for the wife in a divorce between an extremely amicable couple and it was imperative that all dealings with the husband and his solicitor remained that way.
The divorce involved significant finances and the complexities of the couple’s financial situation meant that we needed to get specialist tax and accountancy advice from independent experts. We acted for the more vulnerable wife and advised and supported her from initial instruction through to a court-approved consent order dealing with financial matters and decree absolute of divorce. We did this whilst maintaining the amicable relationship between all parties, achieving a satisfactory result for everyone.
