We apologise for talking about Christmas when your tans have not yet faded, and the children are only just returning to school, but we wanted to highlight to you The Times’ Christmas Appeal for 2019.
The Times is looking for three or four charities to feature in their editions running in December 2019 and early January 2020. Successful charities would benefit from the publicity of being featured in a national publication as well as donations from readers of The Times.
If you wish to apply on behalf of your charity, you will need to provide a short summary of the work the charity does and provide ideas or suggestions for around eight to ten stories which highlight the work of the charity as well as brief ideas of how the charity can work with the Times’ multimedia team to create a short video about the charity’s work. The video would be shared by The Times in its digital editions during the Christmas period.
Charities wishing to apply will need to provide their entries by Monday 16 September. The Times will notify successful entrants in mid-October.
Further details of the appeal and how to apply can be found on The Times website.
