Legal assistant in the Court of Protection team
My role
My role at Anthony Collins Solicitors is to support fee earners in the team with attendance at CIC Reviews and other external meetings, obtaining legal aid on behalf of clients, taking instructions from clients and preparing documents for clients and court instructing Counsel at Court.
My experience
I have worked within the area of family law for over 30 years dealing initially with divorce, domestic violence and private law children act proceedings and more latterly also public law children act proceedings.
