My role
I am a mediation assistant in the private client department. I am responsible for the mediation team’s diary management, responding to correspondence, emails and updating the mediators accordingly. My day-to-day role includes drafting letters for mediators’ approval, preparing draft MOU/OFS’s, co-ordinating with the accounts department to ensure payments are processed before MIAM/mediation, and ensuring relevant forms are completed by participants before sessions.
My experience
My experience includes various clerical and administrative duties, including scheduling appointments and travel and preparing and organising documents. My expertise in written and verbal communication, as well as computer software applications, means I assist in ensuring the mediation process runs as smooth as possible.
